Logo Design Brief

We need a logo for a hobby farm named Blue Birch Farm. The attached files are photos of a huge, old birch tree on our farm that has branches that spread out. At dawn and dusk it turns a subtle blue-grey color, which is the reason for the name of the farm.

I would like the logo to include a image of the tree in the pictures, one that leans more toward being a stylized version. I want it to be recognizable as a birch tree—even though it doesn’t look like a typical straight birch tree.

We’d like a clean, polished look. Not too many colors. No pastel colors! And we do not want a hipster-type faux-old fashioned logo.

We will use the logo for labels for our food packages (e.g., glass jars, egg cartons, bags, etc.).

Requirements

Must have

• The tree in the attached files. Make sure you can tell it is a birch tree. Don't have to show the whole tree but need to see that it's a big, old birch tree with spread out branches. Want to have a free of Spring-Summer.
  
  Prefer architect-type fonts.
  
  

Nice to have

• Some color but not an abundance of color. Would like a blue-grey with other warmer colors.
  
  Feel free to add some leaves to the tree.
  
  We love Egon Schiele-type trees or Art Nouveau-ish trees.

Should not have

• No date or other additional text. No pastel colors.
