The combined logo must clearly feature the respective ages (29 for Scientific Calibration and 10 for Kryosphere) to honor each company’s legacy while signifying their collaborative future. It should be versatile enough to work on various applications, including as an engraving on water bottles and in full-color formats for other promotional uses.
2. Objectives:
Celebrate Milestones: Craft a logo that prominently integrates “29” for Scientific Calibration and “10” for Kryosphere, honoring each company’s significant anniversary.
Brand Unity: Merge design elements from both brands to illustrate their partnership and shared forward-thinking vision.
Versatility: Ensure the logo is adaptable for multiple applications, with a version that works in one solid color (preferably black) for engraving and another colorful version using your existing color palette.
3. Target Audience:
Internal Stakeholders: Employees and partners who value the company’s history and achievements.
External Audience: Clients, prospects, and industry professionals who associate with quality, innovation, and reliability.
4. Key Messages & Values:
Heritage & Longevity: Emphasize the longstanding expertise and personalized service of Scientific Calibration, alongside Kryosphere’s innovative approach to biological specimen management.
Celebration & Collaboration: Highlight the significant milestones (29 years and 10 years) as a testament to each company’s legacy and the strength of their partnership.
Modern Appeal: Balance historical significance with a contemporary design that adapts seamlessly to different media, including both engraving and colorful applications.
5. Design Considerations:
Inclusion of Ages:
Integrate the numbers “29” and “10” in a balanced, visually appealing manner that remains prominent and legible in all formats.
Consider creative typographic or symbolic representations that clearly communicate the milestones.
Visual Elements:
Aim for a design that is sophisticated yet adaptable to both a one-color version for engraving and a multi-color version using your existing palette. Preferably a classy, less overall busy design.
Typography:
Choose modern, professional typefaces that maintain legibility at various sizes, particularly when scaled down for water bottles.
Color & Style:
Engraving Version: Create a simplified one-color version (preferably black) that is clear and impactful when engraved.
Colorful Version: Develop an alternative version using your established color palette to enhance visual appeal across digital and print media.
Scalability:
Ensure the logo remains clear, impactful, and legible when scaled down for promotional items like water bottles and other applications.
6. Technical Specifications:
File Formats:
Deliver the final design in vector formats (e.g., AI, EPS, SVG) for scalability, along with high-resolution raster formats (PNG, JPG) for immediate use.
Color Profiles:
For the colorful version, supply versions in both CMYK (for print) and RGB (for digital).
For the engraving version, ensure the design remains effective in a single, solid color.
