Logo Design Brief

This will be a logo for a 150-hour long ultramarathon named The Pilgrimage. It will be a fairly complex logo. You will find various clip art symbols attached in Journey Symbols folder. Those are the symbols for the different “Journeys” associated with the race and all should be incorporated into the logo. I have also attached a rough sketch which is an example of what I’m looking for. The journey symbols ideally are in the order of the sketch because that is the order each participant must complete said journeys – Genesis, Roulette, Isolation, Inversion, Unbound, Augmentation, Revelations (in that order).

Lastly, we have attached a picture of a Pilgrim. We love this picture, the terrain (which is similar to the terrain the runners will be on), the style of the pilgrim outfit, everything – something very similar could be the middle/main focus of the logo with the symbols around it.

We are looking for a truly epic and detailed logo for this crazy event. The primary logo can be as many colors as necessary to make it look great, but we would prefer 4 or less. We would also (eventually) like a 1-2 color simple logo (primarily outline without all the details) for embroidery and smaller swag items. If we find a designer that provides a great primary logo, we will likely pay for a less detailed logo from the same designer afterwards.
