Tattoo Design Brief

I am looking for a design for my left arm and chest. I am half hawaiian. I do want some traditional makau hawaiian motifs in a modern polynesian tattoo like mahalo weave, sharks teeth, waves, scales, etc. I do want to incorporate my life into the tattoo through certain characters and symbols. I have included images for reference of what i mean and also what looks good to me.
