Logo Design Brief
We need a logo design for a new Architecture and Project management firm based in NSW, Australia called "BHS Studio" and "BHS Projects" respectively. We undertake Architecture and Project Management services for commercial and residential building design & construction.
The website is bhs-studio.com.au and bhs-projects.com.au. So consider use of the dash '-' in the logo.
Other ideas are:
1. Use the horizontal part of the letter 'H' in BHS as a connecting element, similar to the COHO Property logo.... by disconnecting from the H and using colour.... the H (Holdsworth) represents the Architect linking between the B (Buncombe - Director) and the S (Salmon- Developer).
2. Font to represent clarity & simplicity, almost like an eyesight exam chart.... BHS could be bold and the Studio not bold.... Consider using lower case for the bhs and/or the studio.
3. Consider adding the ' - ' between the bhs and the studio, as a break, similar to email.
4. Consider different colour for the BHS to the studio (B & W)
5. Font could also be slanted to right to represent forward movement/progressive.
6. I like the idea of the BHS Studio text somehow within a coloured circle such that it reads like a stamp (works well with Instagram).
7. Colours emerald green (associated with 'green' architecture) or a calming blue (like COHO Property) or I've always liked black text within yellow (positivity).
8. Another idea was a more fluid font in lower case/slanted for the BHS, with the bottom of the S starting at the base of the B and underlining the BHS.... representing fluid movement forward for design & construction.... Somehow tie in 'studio'.
