Logo Design Brief

I am looking for a logo for my new company called:
Profit OverflowCharlottesville SEO and Digital Marketing
It will be a business that helps other local businesses with their SEO and content marketing. While I am open to ideas, my original vision was to have an overflowing RIVER as the main focal point of the design. I was initially hoping for a strong river conveying power and strength that's OVERFLOWING (echoing the name of the company, overflow). I would like the river to appear as though it's going on forever, never ending and never ceasing. 
The area that we are in is Charlottesville VA, home of the Blue Ridge Mountains and Shenandoah National Park. I am okay with the logo having mountains (optional) in it, but I would like the mountains to resemble the blue ridge which are more curved and softer than pointy at the top.  I am also okay with a sun (optional) but again, the MAIN FOCAL POINT needs to be the river. 
I do not want something overly ornate. I would prefer a logo that is easily duplicatable, that can be used on letterhead and such. I do not like overly ornate text or frills. Looking for something modern, clean and sophisticated.  I am not looking for something child-like or elementary. This will be targeting businesses and needs to look extremely professional. 
While I was hoping for black and white, I am also open to pops of color. I like gold and/or teal. 
I do not want something that resembles an outdoor hiking company. This is a company whose clients will be businesses and so we want something professional looking. I want a logo that I LOVE and that will make an impact. Something memorable.  The river is the key.
For the font, I am NOT looking for overly ornate font. I would like something MODERN and clean and professional looking something ELEGANT. We want the river to be powerful but the words to be elegant, clear and easy to read. The main focus is PROFIT OVERFLOW
