Logo Design Brief

Background:
Many motorhomes and recreational vehicles have slide-out walls that expand to increase living space. These slides are typically operated using a wired wall-mounted toggle switch. To make this process easier, I’ve developed a hand-held wireless remote control called The Slide Commander, which simplifies operation, maintenance, and diagnostics—no second person required.

Objective:
Design a logo and branding inspired by a fictional character named The Slide Man. This superhero-like figure embodies the spirit of the product. The Slide Man is not just a hero but a lovable, humble, helpful, and confident character. He’s the kind of person who comes to the rescue when someone struggles with their slide, offering the remote control as the solution.

Guidelines:
• Theme: Emphasize The Slide Man as a hero (not a villain).
• Tone: Reflect qualities of humility, helpfulness, and confidence.
• Colors: Limit the palette to a maximum of 5 distinct colors.
• Style: The branding should feel approachable, modern, and aligned with the innovative spirit of The Slide Man.
