Logo Design Brief

We are an automotive shop called Superformance in Australia who sell performance parts and build muscle cars. We have been in business for 40+ years and the logo is just too big. We have had people draw up a simple logo in the past, (S with wings) which we like, but the logo just hasn't nailed it. Looking to modernize it a bit more.
Looking for an option we can have in plain colour but also 2x colours.
You will see the ideas & inspiration attached along with the styles completed by others in the past.
The lime green colour is our signature colour, along with black & we can use white & grey tones as well.
