Logo Design Brief

I'm looking for a logo for a vessel. The name of the vessel is HAVKATT. This a name from Viking times. In Old Norse, "HAV" means sea & "KATT" means cat, translating to SEA CAT which suits a powerful and agile catamaran, blending the vessels feline agility with the spirit of the Vikings.
My thought is since this is a dive boat, we will have a Leopard (last name Lepper) in a cat eared dive helmet with octopus body, the name Havkatt can be in a Viking style of writing.. I have include a few images that I like to use for inspiration. This logo will only be in one color.
