Logo Design Brief

We recently acquired the domain "appdevelopers.net" to run a free business directory targeting users looking for mobile application developers around their area. While the directory is free for end-users, we plan to have a freemium model for app developers to list their service.

We have identify the platform to run the directory: http://www.brilliantdirectories.com/ and will use one of their default templates to start.

The design should work well within the design of the above templates.

The design should work well with a light background or overlay a light background, since most of the templates we like are like that. We also like the color "blue".

The design should include the domain name "appdevelopers.net" or "appdevelopers" so that it's easily identifiable when used in other context. We're open to text-based logo besides a good graphic or a graphic with the text embedded.

The design should be modern, simple and clear. Our target audience (both end-user and app developers) is tech savvy and expects modern design.

The final design should communicate "an effective tool to work with app developers and come up with a modern product".
