Logo Design Brief
I would like a logo design for my online business. "How to win awards" will help people, companies and organisations win awards. We will do this by offering free resources, online courses, award writing services and consultancy.
Our URL is "How to win awards.co.uk".
In terms of colours, I was drawn to a classy gold, but the problem is that it works best on a black background which i'd like to avoid. I think some nice bright colours could add energy...
How "How to win awards" is positioned with the logo is important because I would like to use that same style for the font and enlarge it as a headline on the website home page panel. The final design needs to by eye catching and attention grabbing. I am an award winning, industry veteran who has built a great reputation as a strategic marketing consultant. So I don't want a comedy design. I need to be taken seriously. You will need to find that balance between capturing our energy and enthusiasm with our unique, award winning expertise.
Target Market(s)
Small business owners who want to stand out from the competition
Industry/Entity Type
My clients can operate in any industry. Many will be small businesses trying to stand out from the crowd.
Logo Text
How to win awards. If you place them on two lines, then i'd like <First line> "How to" <and second line> "win awards" because I think it reads better and the 'how to' is as important as the 'win awards'

Requirements
Must have
- Energy. Lots and lots of energy. A classy look to it. We are a quality provider that they can trust. The words "How to win awards" really need to stand out within this logo design. In terms of shapes, I would prefer a square or circle logo as they are more versatile than, say a rectangle.
Nice to have
- For the logo to incorporate a simple icon that I can use as an app icon or browser tab. I'd like this to appeal to a feminine audience.
Should not have
- A black background. A rectangle shape.
