Logo Design Brief

We have a dated logo that I'm looking to have updated/refreshed. Clean and crisp, suitable for printing or stitching is preferred.

We serve mostly, but not only, religious institutions. Our current logo has incorporates a cross - ideally, this could be slightly more subtle on the new version, but should be incorporated in some way. We'd also like to have the color purple incorporated, as it currently is.
