Logo Design Brief

Hi, we are opening a new small practice consisting of two pediatric cardiologists in Washington state. The main artwork of the logo is being comissioned by a local Native American artist (our practice sits between three Native tribes and reservations).

We are a little behind schedule and while we are waiting for the main art to come in, I would like to start the process of choosing a font and layout for our logo using some placeholder art. This will go on the signage on our building (largest sign 7' x 2"), on our front window (4'x4') and on website, business cards, etc.

Requirements

Must have

• Clean lines, easy to read. Our final artwork will be by a local Native artist and the font will need to work with that

Nice to have

• I envision a relatively narrow color palette of a Black font. Our art will have some red in it. Not opposed to a secondary color, but will probably stick primarily with Black and Red.

Should not have

• Be kitschy in any way (no cartoonish Native American font)
