Logo Design Brief
Welcome to our logo design competition! We are looking for a logo for our new outdoor company, "Outdoor Lemferdinge", located on the historic Lemferdinge Estate in Paterswolde, Drenthe (Netherlands). This estate, with its rich history and natural beauty, provides the perfect environment for our adventure activities. Outdoor Lemferdinge is located next to the Lemferdinge Swimming Pool, an open-air swimming pool in Paterswolde, with which we collaborate.
The target group consists of groups (adults and children), usually in the form of family outings, children's parties, company outings,
bachelor outings, team outings, etc.
The activities you can currently do at Outdoor Lemferdinge are climbing on a climbing wall, archery, mini golf, survival run and swimming in the Lemferdinge Swimming Pool. You can book these activities as a separate package or as an arrangement for a day / half a day.
Purpose of the logo

- The logo should reflect the connection between the natural beauty of the Lemferdinge Estate and the adventurous outdoor activities that we offer.
- The logo will be used on our website, social media, printed materials, on-site signage, and on our sports equipment and merchandise.
Design requirements
-------------------------
We would like both a figurative mark (logo) and an accompanying word mark ("Outdoor Lemferdinge").
- Style and atmosphere: Modern and dynamic, with a reflection of the peace and nature of the estate.
- Color palette: Natural colors such as green, blue and brown, combined with bright sporty colors.
- Typography: Sleek, readable fonts with an adventurous and professional look.
- Elements to include: E.g. symbols of the activities (climbing, archery, mini golf, swimming) integrated with natural elements (trees, water).
- Flexibility: The logo should work well in different formats and look as good in black and white as it does in color.
- Use of Symbols: Integrate elements that refer to nature and activities. Avoid using mountains, as the area is flat and wooded (mostly deciduous trees). So no mountains or a lot of pinetrees please.
