Logo Design Brief

Looking for a new dog in a shield logo.
Currently have this, which I want the wording to stay the same, however the dog in the shield to be a bit nicer. Still a German Shepherd, or Belgian Malinois Head, but with a slight bit of red inside the shield too. not much but a nice amount. and if there could be a gloss effect inside the shield also that would be awesome.
