Logo Design Brief

We are the largest HS in Oregon. Our mascot was designed a LONG time ago -- It is a Scotsmen. We often use the term, "Scots" when stating who we are. Our current Scotsmen looks joyful, almost as though its leaping. We would like a more confident, assured, athletic, warrior and leader like demeanor featured in a variety of stances. Ultimately, we need a logo of our mascot to be used in 3 variation crests at minimum for general use, academic use and athletic use as you'll see in the below examples.

He needs to have his chest forward, arms folded over the SCOTS with HIS right hand grasping T sword. He should have his sash over HIS left shoulder, with it winging over the C in scots behind HIS right shoulder; bagpipes should be parallel mirror of HIS left shoulder.

I have included: our current Scotsmen (charging); DD Logo, SCOTS Crest like exemplar from a college in Orange shades (this is what we'd like our Scotsmen to like like -- chest up, blade as the T, sash, bagpipes); Image 0929 is what we're looking to provide to staff; The PDF is our mock up drawings.
