Logo Design Brief

We need a new logo design for an existing product. Lifetime Waterproofing Sealant is the name of the product and it is exactly what it sounds like, a long lasting waterproofing sealant that works on concrete, wood, brick, stone and even canvas. I have attached the current logo and we would like the colors of green and black, but it definitely needs to be more current.
