Logo Design Brief
My company Papi's Properties, LLC , will be developing residential communities with a focus on rustic, non-cookie cutter houses. The developments will be in wooded areas with sustainable features and infrastructure, so a natural feel to the logo would be great.
The plot thickens because I want it to include my late great Doberman, Papi (see pics). I envision the logo going one of two ways, although I'm open to other concepts. I want him (and the logo) to appear strong and inviting, yet not intimidating -- a great tightrope for you guys to navigate.
The first concept would be of Papi, head on, with a collar / necklace with a house on it. Perhaps a caricature or even hand sketch would work great this way.
The second idea would be with a silhouette of Papi somehow worked into the profile of a house, again perhaps with thin lines and not the actual picture...IFFF you can somehow merge the word Papi into this house, that might be amazing. It's not a requirement, and I don't want it to be too busy or have the word Papi not add anything to the design or perhaps even be confusing.
With both of these, simpler with clean lines will likely be best. I'm flexible with colors and assume green will somehow be a part of this since we are promoting sustainability and nature...maybe brown also, an earth color?
Last but not least -- if it's not too busy -- I'd like the paved brick road somewhere in the design, as it will figure prominently in these developments.
