Logo Design Brief

Modify the attached file (logo.png) for the Conference on Computer Human Information Interaction and Retrieval (CHIIR) so that we can use it for the 2026 conference. The conference will be held in Seattle, WA, USA in March 2026.

Two asks:

1. Integrate the Seattle Space Needle and/or the Seattle Skyline subtly into the image, keeping the original style of the CHIIR logo.
2. Add the year (2026) above the IIR in the logo in a color to match the "H" in CHIIR and in a slightly smaller font - there are other examples of adding the year at http://chiir.org under "Past and Next Conferences"

PSD file (with some additional text) is attached to make editing easier.

Requirements

Must have

• Space Needle (preferred) or full Seattle Skyline (w/ Space Needle included, less preferred but still ok) integrated in some way; Style of original logo preserved; Year (2026) above the IIR.

Nice to have

• Integration of the space needle / skyline outline with the existing lettering would be cool, but not required; Maybe the outline of the needle across the two "I"s in CHIIR? Not sure. Be creative!

Should not have

• Tacky full color pictures of the space needle superimposed or hidden behind the text
