I'm very happy to find this contest, I would definitely design something cool. I was thinking about the old logo and the 'Ta Valletta' name. I don't know if you want to carry on with the red star symbol, but the name might have some history (Maltese origins?) that could possibly be represented in the logo in some form. I read that you want a text based logo, but I'm trying to find the essence of the brand regardless.

Thanks for your comment. I should have mentioned, the name of the business is paramount to maintain. The logo isn’t even on the product packaging so no customers even know the logo, only the name! No need to keep the coloring, or the stars, it’s about creating a modern logo with the wording for brand awareness. Hope that helps, and yes Maltese origins but todays focus needs to be more on the quality, no fillers, no boosters, no preservatives tagline.

Just wanted to add, I want a rectangle shaped logo as the main logo, and then a variation that can be squared for socials. The focus needs to be on a logo for new packaging, visuals in freezers, rather than socials. This business won’t be grown by socials rather B2B.
