Web Design Brief

Building a directory / classifieds website for a local ski resort town and would like to improve the look and feel of the homepage.

I'd like to show everyone what's going on in town in regards to "events" "classifieds" "jobs" "news" "restaurants" "places for rent" etc on the homepage, and not in a cluttered fashion as currently is.

Ideally the top of the page is dedicated to "Featured" listings, and then there's areas for "Ads" on the side-bar or other areas, while keeping it clean and uncluttered.

Be cool to have some areas stand out like "subscribe to our newsletter" area, "Ski Cams", "Snow Report", "For Sale" etc, meaning these are buttons / quick reference areas.

And also a place to encourage people to post a listing / CTA
