Logo Design Brief

ScamProof.com is a new free to use website (that is currently being developed) that will be aimed at preventing fraud/scams from occurring. I have worked in law enforcement for over eleven years, and have spent the last 4.5 years of my career working as a detective investigating financial crimes. I came up with the idea of ScamProof.com after getting sick and tired of seeing people being ripped off. My goal is to educate the public (from a detectives perspective) which should help to prevent them from becoming a victim. The website will discuss various scams, fraud and scam prevention techniques, provide financial
literacy etc.

I envision a logo that is professional, easy to remember/brandable, and portrays what the website is about. I do not want a tacky graphic being used in the logo. (i.e. a magnifying glass being used). I like blue, red, black, and white for possible colors used. (Contestants will not be judged on the colors that they use as the winning design can be adjusted accordingly). I would like the website name “ScamProof” to be included in the logo. Also, smaller text such as “Fraud Prevention and Scam Awareness” could be included. I’m still not certain if I want this. I will need to see the overall design first and see how that would look.

Update: January 1, 2024. Happy New Year and thanks to all of those who have submitted an entry. I have received quite a bit of entries, so it is hard to respond to each one. There are quite a bit of entries that feature a magnifying glass (at least in the font). There might have been some confusion on my original directions but I do not want this as it looks like an existing logo from another website. Please keep this in mind. Thank you
