Tattoo Design Brief

I love the horse in the album cover art for Turnpike Troubadours “A Long Way From Your Heart” in which the horse is whole at its tail and at its head, but switches to muscle at the romp and the shoulder and to skeleton at its ribs. All of my tattoos are in black and grey and I love a somewhat illustrative style (see attached an example of one of my current tattoos, a dog with bird, in this style). I would love the style of the horse to be as similar as possible, and I’m open to it being several inches long in order to capture the sketchy details. I like this pose that the horse is in, of running. Although I would probably want it mirrored/running the opposite direction.
