Tattoo Design Brief

Was in the Navy, so nautical influence is a must. I served as a Special Operations Independent Duty Corpsman (Special Operator, Military Free Faller, Combatant Diver) and served with Marine Special Operations (Marine Raiders, and Force Reconnaissance for over 20 years) I'm now a Physician Assistant so medicine is a big part of my life. I met my wife in Okinawa Japan and was my first duty station. We have 2 daughters (Mia & Anya). I'm also Polynesian, more specifically Tongan. I've deployed to Iraq and Afghanistan several times and been on Ship. Below are some of the ideas I have.

Nautical Influence:(e.g., a knot rope around the wrist, starfish, waves, nautical star, anchors, swallows, cross cannons, shellback turtles.)

Tribal tatoo influence to reflect my Polynesian roots
Japanese influence & colors (thinking koi fish, cherry blossoms, hibiscus flowers) - first duty station and where I met my wife

To tie it together I would like to see small alternating pattern of star, dot, and anchor pattern
