Have Some Sun Ltd - Logo brief
Have Some Sun is a small scale solar developer, that invests in projects that make a difference and
saves clients money whilst reducing their environmental impact. We are not an international
corporate, so we should have a logo that has more character.
This is a B2B company, and the key pillars of the logo should engender energy, renewables, trust &
professionalism, and be approachable as it is run by a small and friendly team.
The inspiration behind the company name was from Sheryl Crow’s song “All I wanna do is [have
some fun], I’ve got a feeling I’m not the only one”. It’s meant to be fun!
MOODBOARD
Overall : Incorporate a sun, and text “have some sun”.
Do not use “have some” and then the image of a sun, as this is a bit laddy.
APPROACH 1 – HAND DRAWN
The logo should look simple and hand drawn is a nice aesthetic, but should not be strictly limited to
this, as text is also important.
APPROACH 2 – A GIFT TO YOU
Please try an approach where the message of “have some sun” is presented, gestured subtly, like a
gift.
APPROACH 3 – TEXT ONLY
Please try manipulating the shape of font (see ‘aes’ logo below) with colours and shapes to
emphasise our key pillars.
Do not use generative AI in the creation of this product. We’ve tried them already.
