Design Banners for The Bend Church
Add your question or comments below
Hello, please provide the content for each banner - headline, text messages, bullet points, call to action, contact information, etc., plus the kind of imagery you're looking for. Just anything that is necessary to be included.
Hi, I'd love to possibly help with this project, but additional information is needed:
Exact dimensions (width + height) of each banner
Specifications of exactly what content (logo, text, etc) is needed on each banner
Horizontal logo (unless only the circle logo is supposed to be used)
Thanks!
Our church, The Bend, was started 3 years ago, during COVID. It has a great and miraculous story to it.
The reason behind the name is: Lord, Bend Me. Lord Bend the Church. Lord, Bend the Nations.
The website is: TheBend.church
We have been in our own building that we have outgrown right at 2 years. We went to two services and still had youth on the floor and overflow full.
It has been a great growth but, this brought its own challenges. Police directing traffic, parking overflowing onto the streets, etc.
Now, we are planning to move to the local University buildings for the church for a while. The local university is Tennessee Tech. Their Motto is Wings Up. We have been able to integrate that into our preliminary marketing, which has been limited to our current congregation. This could be a good integration into our marketing efforts here.
We would like a clean, modern, elegant look that flows through all areas.
We were focusing on the green, (#D7DD47) and the pastor wanted us to focus more on the orange. These have been some of our current color palettes for orange. (#F0C43F) or (#ECAF3C) however, Pastor now says this seems like too pumpkin color. I have attached a current style guide. Again, keep in mind, the pastor would like us to focus more on an orange, orange-red color.
There are three Image attachments here, they are sample designs.
The two larger, Orange signs are from a church that our pastor visited and he would like something along these lines.
We will be canvasing the area with door hangers (these are the green #D7DD47 that were ordered before Pastor asked us to change to a more vibrant orange):
Since it is a university that sits right in the middle of town and one of the major roadways drives right through the center of the campus, we have a prime location. The main gathering will be in Derryberry Hall. It is the iconic building right in the center of campus that the town drives by.
So, our marketing efforts will be multi-point and we are open to more of your suggestions.
Banner flags in front of Derryberry Hall. About 13 feet tall. We think that 2 out front would be ideal, one on each side of the horseshoe stairwell. This is what they look like if you are not familiar: again, this design is basic and not what we want. This is what I need you to design. They are double-sided and can be the same on both sides or can be complimentary, one on each side of the single banner, or complimentary on each side of the stairwell.
The next point of contact will be inside Derryberry Hall. This is where the adults will go. Thus the banner flags in front of the building (as listed in #3) indicate the Church is here...Inside, at entry, we need a retractable welcome banner. This is just something that will say - Welcome (you have arrived - we are glad you are here...). Something like that. Please see the big Orange sample the Pastor provided as I mentioned above. This will be about 4ft wide and 80" tall.

2. Next, we will need a retractable banner that just has the logo and something simple that will be placed between the two auditorium doors. It will only be visible when the doors are closed. it will be 4ft wide and 80" tall also.
3. Next, we would like an accordion-style wall banner that will be one-sided - about 8 ft long. This will be Welcome Center (again, review the sample Orange wall banner). Something that would go behind a table, so the verbiage and indications can be on the upper 2/3 of the banner and not to much of anything on the bottom 3rd.
Also, need a barrier banner out front that announces the church, and provides the time of service - maybe a QR link that people passing by can quickly grab a link...thoughts?
We do have more logo options…I will attach them now. I am open to a variety of design that will incorporate more orange and vibrancy.
Hello Sir,
Your project is good.
But to be honest the budget for the winner designer for all long and short banners output is very very small amount.
We think you should reconsider the budget.
Actually the budget is sufficient for 1 long banner design.
Thanks
Jack
Hello, it seems you are referring to links or images in your comment that are not available. Please post them in the design brief, so it become more clear what you're referring to.
Reading through your comment, it's still not exactly clear what the text content should be for some of the banners, as well as what are their exact dimensions and orientation (e.g. the two 13 feet tall ones).
I guess you want us to copy the text from existing ones, but you haven't uploaded or linked to them anywhere, so please do that.
