Web Design Brief
Coordinator is a GDPR compliant Membership, Contact Management & List Management solution. It is an ideal replacement for any organisation or company still using Excel, Outlook, simple database or paper-based system to manage contact data, mail lists, and other personal information.
The target market will be Clubs/Associations in the EU.
The design will need to be a fluid design and suitable for mobile devices. The home page will contain most of the web site content, enabling a user to scroll through all the relevant information on one page. There will be a single sub page design required for supporting information.
The web site will need to support two language versions - English and German (Language selection option required). However, the build requirements will be for a static HTML site (no database) in English only. We will duplicate and make the German version ourselves.
The attached document is the first draft of the home page content. Whilst it is a little wordy, it should convey the main information that we wish to get across.
Please note: We would prefer not to use photographs for the main imagery, we feel vector graphics would be a better option . As a guide, the following design: https://en.99designs.de/profiles/Janneke/designs/1279883 may provide an insight into how we imagine the home page working and contains all the key elements we would expect to be covered.
The logo contained in the attached document can be split into a logo and text. Feel free to use only the logo (without text) or separate and place the text alongside etc., We do not want to change the logo, however, how you chose to use it is up to you.
Colour's are also optional. We like the blue, but are open to alternative ideas.
The testimonials section, should contain all the questions (3) and several of the associated answers shown. Questions/Answers may be separated into speech bubbles or similar. Not all answers will be used, but are there to provide some content.
The sub pages will be used to provide background on the GDPR requirements, our Service Offering, About Us (possibly), and a contact page.

The design budget is now guaranteed.
Whilst we have no intention not to move forward with this project, I understand the 'lack of commitment' from our side may be a negative.
Once we have reviewed all submissions - we will decide upon our preferred submission.
We will only request changes from one or two designers, and will make it clear how many other designers are in the running. This I believe is fair, as you probably need this information before deciding whether to submit any changes requested!
My hope is we have a home page that enables a visitor to clearly understand what we are offering, without having to drill down into various sub pages or sections to understand the basics. I appreciate we need to write appropriate content, but the design itself should feel uncluttered and fluid.
Hopefully some of you really talented designers can throw some ideas into the pot. The concept is more important than the detail.
