Logo Design Brief

I need a logo for my new law firm. It is based in Seattle and we only represent condominium and homeowner associations, called "Community Associations," which can be large neighborhoods, small buildings or even high-rises. I want the logo to be fairly simple and clean so it can be used on letterhead, cards, for my website and on SWAG, but something other than the obvious house or building unless somehow incorporated into more of an abstract design. I'd like the logo to be only 1 or 2 colors and maybe be encapsulated in a shape so it's easy to use for letterhead. I like black, silver and metallics with maybe brick red or olive. The logo should convey professionalism, strength and cleverness. Maybe incorporate or design around the company letters "CALG." Maybe incorporate neighborhood concepts like homes or cul-de-sacs, but not like real estate logos. Font for company name should be professional but bold. I think it works well to have it stacked with "Community" on first line, "Association" on next line and "Law Group" on third line with matching margins.
