Logo Design Brief
We're having another dog show - this time at Mesquite, Texas, USA in spring of 2024. So we definitely want a whimsical, western logo. We have attached some inspiration items but we are open to other cute western designs and want your creative help in providing a design in true drawn vector format. Maybe it's a cavalier popping out of a cowboy hat or framed with a lasso or next to other western items; some other design. A few inspiration ideas are attached but the design should be original. The design will need to be provided in .ai, .png, and .jpg formats. We will also need a line drawing or 2-color version of the logo chosen. The design will be used for embroidery as well as print work and online, so it should NOT have gradients and the letters need to be clear and easy to embroider. Super-fine elements which are not embroiderable should not be included. If possible, colors should be limited to 6, including black and white.
Please remember that this is not a logo for the Club, but a logo to market/advertise the Dog Show with. We want people to look at the logo and think - "that looks super fun/special - I don't want to miss this event."
I will provide feedback on designs submitted.

Design will be used for the website, embroidery on chair backs and caps, and print media. The line drawing version of the logo will be used on some of the promotional items, so both are important.
Updates
I am extending the time by 5 days to give designers time to make some of the suggested changes and tweaks. I do want to let you know that we have received a lot of cavaliers in boots. That is fine and we do like some of them, but we are also open to other western designs as well. Thank you all for participating!! -Eileen

Requirements
Must have
- Must include an original, true vector drawn version of the logo, together with a black on white line-drawing version, both in .ai .png & .jps. The final version will also need a second line drawing version that can print white on black, where the eyes and nose are still dark.
Nice to have
- ny text and design should be simple enough to be easily embroidered at a size of about 3 inches square. Square, round, or horizontal layout is preferred to vertical layout.
Should not have
- Superfine lines, gradients or shading. This show will ONLY be for Cavalier King Charles Spaniels, so DO NOT include other dog breeds. Please DO NOT post multiple versions of your logo showing how it would look embroidered, on the wall, on stationary, etc. You may post multiple logos that are slightly different. Thanks.
