Logo Design Brief

We need a caricature logo done for our new business, Overall maintenance and repairs. We do NOT need any other logo done. We literally want our logo to be the TWO caricature characters.

We would like ourselves (pictures attached) to be made into caricatures with dark/royal blue overalls (bib and brace) with white t shirts underneath. We will need an overall border around the logo/caricature to be multi use (on different colour backgrounds). The "overalls" will be part of our work uniform, as well as being reflected in our company name.

We need to be standing side by side. The guy is to be on the left and the girl on the right. There is quite a height difference between us, so if the girl was standing on a small step ladder to match the height that would be great. We can emphasise the height difference this way, as well as incorporating one of the tools we use on our jobs. Both caricatures to have their thumbs in the bib part of the overalls as portrayed in a few images.

The guy with the beard is very well known for it and wears his cap backwards. The girl has her hair in a ponytail and wears her cap forwards.

We would like each caricature to have subtle displays of some tools we would use so they recognise what it is that we do. As an example, a part of a spirit level poking out from a pocket, a cordless drill hanging out of a hip pocket, a paintbrush with its bristles poking out of a pocket, etc. Not going over the top and overcrowding each pocket, but hints of tools that we use to portray what it is that we do.

Our company is basically a handy man service provider that does everything from painting, cleaning, lawn mowing and general house and yard projects / repairs / maintenance.

We would like the overall look to be professional but personable so we can connect with all clientele, and the caricatures represent how we look. Not a dramatic disproportion of head to body ratio that looks too silly, but definitely a difference. We want to show off who we are, so we are recognisable, but also our uniform, so we also are recognised for the Bib & Brace overalls.
