Logo Design Brief

Hi, this is logo is for a band in Brisbane Australia, classy but sassy, potentially corporate market, but needs a rock feel also. I am trying to incorporate a couple of ideas together but needs refining as you can see.

Please note this will be printed on t shirts and also a large backdrop for the band.

I really would like the "Diamond" part of logo to stand alone, apart from "Rocks You". Perhaps the sparkles are too much, not sure... hit me with your great designs please!!
