Logo Design Brief
MOBITEC-Routes (full title: "Increasing habitual walking by promoting purposeful activities in the neighbourhood: effects of a personalized, GIS-based intervention for mobility-limited and chronically ill older adults") is a research project led by the University of Basel, Switzerland. It will test the effects of an intervention that includes personalized promotion of habitual walking, based on an assessment of the participants' (older adults 65+) activity preferences and an assessment of their neighbourhood environment. The assessment makes use of interactive digital geographical maps. Possibilities for increasing walking (leisure and transportation walking) are explored and a personalized, map-based activity plan is set up.
The logo must include the term "MOBITEC-Routes". Additional pictorial features of the logo may (but not necessarily) include: a map, a map marker, a walking track or route, an older adult (gender neutral and non-ageist), environmental features (eg, a tree), etc.
The Logo is meant to be used on (scientific) presentations and posters as well as the instructional materials. It is also used on flyers for participant recruitment.
