Logo Design Brief

Hello!

We are a small media company that's focus is in automotive and motorsport.
Our specialties are photography, journalism, copy and organizing niche events.
We would prefer to not use colour in logo.
Our team is based in Canada but most of our work is viewed international! Our work takes a traditional turn. We do a lot with the community with client projects and charitable projects.

Open to design suggestions but needs to appeal to a more affluent audience. Do not want silhouette of cars or tires.. things of that nature;
We do not only deal with photography so no cameras either please.
