Logo Design Brief

This is a logo for a new start-up company in the garage door industry. Gridz is an acronym for "Garage Related Innovative Designz".
I attached our first concept. Our main company color will be black. We'd like a red and silver logo with yellow flames. I'd like the logo design also completed for black business cards. We had the idea for a medieval shield, with a red border, red G, yellow flames and the shield "buttons" and shield background behind the G to be brushed aluminim with a vertical grain.
