Logo Design Brief

I am going to update this brief with the new brief at the top I left all of the previous explanations underneath. My original idea was to have a horse logo with a river theme Inc. river or water. We are Savage River Farms and the farm is next to the Savage River. I am open to horse/farm type logos that do not have a river/water aspect as well. We just need something that speaks to the organization and the board members. I want the lines simple enough that it can be printed on T-shirts and hats and stickers in black-and-white and still come across legible and clear. That's not to say that it can't have color one printed in color. I would like to stay with some more earthy tones greens blues I think? Not to say that a little color pop would be bad. The designs that were submitted were all very nice but I was looking for something a little more artistic… I would like the horse it's self to have some character and personality if that means a little more detail...
*I uploaded a bunch of new images. There are a bunch of images that I like and the shape or symbol in them is not a horse but my thought was if it was a horse I would like that appearance. So for instance the image with a cross and the river if that was a horse head on a river that might be cool. The reflective image with the sailboat on top of the water and the reflection below I think that would be really neat if the horse head was a reflection above and below. So that was my idea with uploading those images that don't necessarily have a horse or animal in them but a different object. The actual photos that I uploaded are our first rescue horse Artemis and the landscapes are pictures of the farm where this rescue is being built.

It would be really neat if in the words Savage River Farms... the end of the word river flowed into the water aspect of the horses mane or tail looking like river waves. And maybe the S at the end of farms could also be incorporated into the picture part of the logo either underlining the Horse or some aspect.
There is an image that I uploaded that is close to being able to incorporate the letters the way it is. It just needs a little more River aspect added to it. It is the one that is uploaded twice and right now it shows up as the last uploaded image.
Logo design. Large animal rescue receiving horses and equines, cows, goats, Sheep, Llamas, pigs, poultry or any other farm type animals.
Our animal rescue is a new venture. We are in the plan development phases(are starting construction now and hope to be operational by fall of 2023) and I'm looking to have a logo that people can resonate with as we become more in the public eye. We will be rescuing animals that have been abused, abandon, neglected, saved from slaughter, seized by animal control and other various situations. Is to rehabilitate and rehome less animals that are eligible and provide a lifelong home for those that are not. Our rescue is geographically located next to the Savage River in western Maryland. The name Savage River Farms has been a long-standing family name in the area. Savage River Farms is a 501 C3 nonprofit organization.
We would love to have something that correlates a horse figure or even just horse head and the main somehow flowing like the Eddie of a river. To tie the aspect of the river into the horse logo. The tagline would be a bonus to have incorporated into the logo but the name Savage River farms and an animal representation with a river correlation is the most important. I would like the design to say simple enough to be clearly visible when printed on a hat, sticker or T-shirt. Whether it has color or not the transition to black and white would be important as well. It can be as simple as a horse head silhouette or full horse body silhouette, with the name or have any other aspects that go along with the animal rescue, animals, barn, trees, rivers etc.


The pictures I attached are just some ideas that we liked the look of. I don't have specific colors at this point more of nature colors, Green, blue gray black whatever might look good we don't really have colors in mind, pretty open at this point
