You have mentioned in the brief that the Raven should not have lots of details.
But the chosen design has incredible details.
So I felt that we were missguided.

Contest holders at times change their minds on what they really want do to lack of experience of what a logo should do and how it is going to be used. If this is going to go on the side of a truck good luck being able to read it from a distance.
