Logo Design Brief

I need a logo design for Roast Kava. It's my side hustle coffee roasting business born out of my passion for coffee. I want to reflect the "WHY" in Roast Kava's logo. As a roaster, I think of myself as a alchemist. I transform coffee beans and coffee drinking experiences.

Roast Kava is a change agent, transforming green coffees' sugars, proteins, acids into delightful aromas of roasted nuts, malts, chocolate, fruit, berries, flowers and more.

Roast Kava transforms the coffee drinking experience for those who haven't been exposed to great coffee. I want to transform the average coffee drinker's experience .

The logo does not necessarily have to include the term Roast.

The origin of the name is to pay homage to my eastern European grandparents who had me drinking coffee at a very young age. Kava is Croatian for coffee so you get Roast Kava which is what I do. I love the science behind coffee and the roasting process. I built a roastery in my basement from which Roast Kava operates. I plan on utilizing Instagram to market and sell my coffee.
