Logo Design Brief

Leño a Leño is a catering service business based in Costa Rica, we focus mainly in BBQ and Grilling events.
We use different techniques, from classic US BBQ to Argentinian Asados, and different cuts, from low and slow brisket, bondiola (pork neck) or porchetta to fast grilling chicken wings or matambrito (pancetta). Our events are 8 or 9 hrs long since we hang lots of cuts we are gonna smoke and serve 4 ours later. The use of crosses or “estacas” to cook whole animals, pigs, lamb, fish, or to cook big pieces of meat like a whole beef rib rack, is very common in our asados. Cooking vegetables “al rescoldo” (directly in the ambers) creates a very rustic and outdoor feel to the side dishes, from stuffed pumpkins to eggplant dips, anything can be done. Wood sourcing is a very important for us, hence the name “leño a leño” which translates to “log to log”, we try and use local woods, mainly coffee wood (coffee is a top 3 agricultural export in Costa Rica) as well as woods from fruit trees from the region like guava and oak.
We would like a logo and wbsite that is going to reflect a little bit of what we just described, that looks and feels a little bit like our cooking, Where the main focus are the elements of wood (logs/”leños”), ambers, smoke, meat. On it we need a very basic and easy to use website, where you can get all the menus we have, look at pictures of some events, and contact us through Whatsapp or via email. Nothing out of this world.
