Logo Design Brief

We need a new logo that incorporates "Crematorium" into our business name. We added the crematorium a couple years ago, and customers in surrounding areas still do not necessarily realize that we have a crematorium. So I want to have that as part of our logo. As well, My husband, brother and I are in the process of taking over the family funeral home and crematorium that has been in business 30 years. We would like a new fresh look as we are young and vibrant and would like a classic classy design, yet something that shows we are "with the times" so to speak. Our colors have been burgundy and gold in past, but we are open to a new color scheme. We have another funeral home in our small community that we compete heavily with and so we need our branding an logo to be on point. It needs to that families are entrusting the care of their loved ones to a professional and caring Funeral Home. The logo is displayed at bottom of on all print material from our funeral home-- Arrangements entrusted to [LOGO for Tompkins Funeral Home & Crematorium] (i.e. Notices of Death/ Funeral notices, funeral programs/cards, advertising, obituaries in newspapers, social media etc). I am also interested in a separate crest monogram that should be circular in shape as we stamp and emboss many Legal documents

Target Market(s)

Predominantly baby boomers and the children of the oldest baby boomers as they are the ones planning funerals. However it needs to appeal to all age groups as we unfortunately have to deal with families of all ages that lose a loved one.
