Logo Design Brief

We have a current logo but we are looking for a new design, rebranding essentially. We are a restaurant/bar/hostel (hostel, not hotel) currently located in the Philippines (however future locations might not be in the Philippines). Most of our guests are backpackers from all over the world. We want to keep the rooster as part of the new logo if possible but want to dial back on the drinking part of it. We want the logo to be very eye catching and stand out. Something that people will know who we are just by seeing the logo.
We would like to avoid the assumption of being a fried chicken joint. Something unique, fun and friendly but stylish and professional.

I have attached some inspiration and also our current logo, if we can keep the rooster more professional looking, with a cool vibe, in a tropical/paradise setting with some bold text that would be great.
