Logo Design Brief

The Jason Bennett Actors Studio is a professional actor training studio in NYC that specializes in training for beginner and professional actors actors and singers.
My approach, as the founder and main teacher, is to offer students exactly what they need. Wherever you are in the development of your creative process, my job is to meet you there, and take you to the next levels after that.
My job is also to be an expert in the field of actor training. It used to be the standard practice of the great teachers to know ONLY ONE approach to acting.
But actor training has evolved and become much more sophisticated than 60 years ago. My view is that it is my job to be an expert in the field of actor training. And to synthesize, using a rather scientific approach, all the great methods, into an integrative approach.

The more integrated and holistic the approach, tailored to the specific creative psychology of each artist, the faster and more meaningful the results.

All the work rests on the evolution of human consciousness. In my approach, the more you know yourself -- your dream world, your imagination, your emotional range -- the more stories you can tell.

And the more informed you are about what is going on in this world, much deeper than the corporate news, the more of an artistic point of view you can develop.

In my approach, you develop a library of human experience through a conscious exploration of what it's like to be all kinds of people in all kinds of places.

So...it's kind of like Star Trek...it's futuristic and smart...and logical and emotional...it's ahead of its time. But it is also practical, efficient, ethical and relevant.

You learn the tools you need to do great work on TV, in film and in theater.

The logo is about 10 years out of date. It seems like the rebrand should have an echo of the original logos, or be influenced by them. But...maybe not.

I need a flexible logo for responsive web site design, print ads, and stationery. Oh, and soon I'll need a web site developed, responsive and for all platforms. That will come next...

I'd like the logo to eventually be able to have an animated assembly animation.

But to start with, I just need the logo....notice the name has changed since the image files I'm uploading. It's - Jason Bennett Actors Studio

And I'm excited to see what your unconscious will create in response to the input from reading this and seeing the old logos. I'm not in a big rush. Time takes time. You are the artist.
