Looks good. Thanks! For the final design, I like the idea of having some sort of background, but I still want it on theme of being in the deep sea. So, could you try adding a few isolated waves above the whale, with a small boat in the top left (sort of above the tail area)? I don't want a full layer of waves, because I don't want the design to have defined borders, but I'd like some sort of gentle, water-themed background. If you could, please re-use the 4 colors you used for the primary design to create the background.
