Logo Design Brief

We like to have a new logo for our restaurant.
Different from our present logo and more modern.
XXNo icon's (old logo), just letters in the new logo.XX
Update: We are open to versions with a pic/icoon/etc.
Old logo included for reference.
We prefer a black with gold letter design, but are open to variations.
The 'Riesling' font is a font we really like, but again variations are welcome.
Fyi: 'Diner' in the second line is with one 'n' because its Dutch.
