Logo Design Brief

We need a logo design for a karate club called Komainu Karate Club. Komainu being a pair of japanese lion's that would traditionally guard the enterance to shrines. The logo should look very similar to the attached image and fit in a circular badge (no bigger than 10cm Diameter) that would be sown onto karate suits.
