Wordpress Design Brief
I have a company that is newly launching that will sell wholesale probiotics to nutritional supplement, food, and sports nutrition companies. We also have a single retail product that will also be launched. The website needs to incorporate both the wholesale and retail parts of the company. I have attached all the tentative content for the website below. It includes a home page which would have links and tabs to six other pages which are all included in the attachment. The six other pages are about page, wholesale products, retail product, shopping cart for retail product, charitable giving page, and blog page.
The first premise of my company is that we care about people (unlike any other company in this field which only cares about profits) and want to provide the very best products for their health and probiotics can help with health issues naturally better than almost anything else as well as create a new level of health that never existed before. The second premise of my company is that we are the smartest guy in the room. Our bigger competitors are all full of political hacks who all put together are not up to the level of world class scientific expertise and creativity that we have. So the website needs to exude the feeling that you are dealing with the most empathetic person you know who also happens to be the smartest person you know. Caring and excellence. But it also should be fun! When you love people and you have a great way to help them you feel a joy and feeling of fun in your life! There should be fun type styles, colorful, interesting pictures and drawings, etc. The site does need to appeal to both buyers at big companies that need our wholesale products as well as regular people (mostly women) that are health conscious and want to buy retail supplements that can help their health. But we are the same people and company to anyone we meet so it shouldn't be a problem to have two distinct audiences for our website. I have included our company logo below as well as our retail brand logo/label. These have to work with whatever color schemes you use. We have a lot of copy and no graphs or visuals so we do have to work in some pictures and graphics and designs to make this work well. And again, we need to work with the copy to make it stand out. No black on white type anywhere. Colors, interesting types and fonts, a lot of variety, shading, boxes, etc. You know what I mean since you are designers and hate boring also. So not boring and placid. Make it the most interesting design you have ever done. I have no great examples to show you because our competitor's sites suck. Look at deerland.com or bio-cat.com for standard and boring. Nice pictures and crisp but that's it. Nothing original in their sites.
