Logo Design Brief

We are a real estate investment company. We are driven by an institutional approach and also a focus on God. I like the pillar of fire and pillar of cloud references in the bible as to how the israelites were protected by God but not sure if I should use it. I also like the old Lehman Brothers Logo. Not sure what I want/need but want it to show we are professional, institutional and honor the lord.
