Logo Design Brief

We need a logo for an established import export company based in south of France. Our company main products are construction and decoration materials such as plywood panels, flooring products, outdoor spas, faucets.
We already have a logo that looks dated so we would like to change it. We would like two versions of the logo. One using a revisited version of "the world" from the current logo (see uploaded file). And one additional version with text only.
The final design should communicate reliability.
