Logo Design Brief

We need a logo design for a new startup program in Dallas, Texas called Empower. It will be a child welfare nonprofit organization serving kids in foster care in the DFPS 3e region (Dallas Fort Worth Region). We have toyed with the idea of having a triangle in the logo, but it isn't required. We would like the logo to communication empowerment and community. We are flexible on the colors, but would like teal and purple for sure.
