The business is called "The Convoi Exceptionnel Directory". The business is an online directory of transport hauliers in this specialist area of moving abormal / large / wide loads across Europe. This is a European business so it's important that imagery does not include America style trucks. If you live in Europe you may be familiar with the sign attached that is displayed at the front of each truck. (see attached files)
CONVOI EXCEPTIONNEL is a french word phrase that is used as a warning for vehicles to be warned that the cargo is exceptionally large. Typically the haulier could be moving a super yacht, a wind turbine blade, or an entire structure such as a bridge. Our business is a "Directory" so it's important that this word is not trivialized or minimised. Equally the term "CONVOI EXCEPTIONNEL" is an important phrase and it should not be split up and neither should one part of this phrase be emphasised more than another. The words "THE" & "DIRECTORY" could potentially appear in one colour with "CONVOI EXCEPTIONNEL" appearing in another. We do not want a logo that is just the text. 2 There MUST be two parts to it, the text and a separate logo (not just text). 3 We do not want a logo that is literal, so NO images of a long trucks with the words on the side of the vehicle. 5. Do NOT emphasise "THE CONVOI" or make any part of CONVOI EXCEPTIONNEL bigger or smaller than any other part of that phrase. 6 You may be able to make "THE" less significant by reducing it's size, fading its colour or through it's positioning. We dont' want anything too conceptual either.
