Logo Design Brief

I need a logo for my ministry outreach. I am a pastor trying to reach people in geek/pop culture communities. I do this through many different kinds of media.
The logo should capture the essence of being a part of geek/pop culture.
for example...using Indiana Jones or Star Wars font in some way.
Update: I like the idea of incorporating a comic book feel into the logo...for example the logo inside a comic book word bubble.
